Acute Consultations

These consults are suitable for ailments that have recently occurred and are of acute, short duration. For example:

sprains, strains and backache
grazes, bumps and bruises
accidents, shock and injuries
colds and flu and coughs
food-poisoning, diarrhoea and vomiting
fever, teething, earache and childhood illnesses
anxiety, stress and bereavement
hay fever, allergies and hives
bites and stings and puncture wounds
toothache and extractions
post-surgery care and healing of fractures
burns, sunburn and sunstroke, etc.

Cost and duration

The cost is $35 and the remedies prescribed are extra to the consult fee. The remedies can be picked up or delivered in Kapiti, or couriered elsewhere for a fee. Consultations generally take 15-20 minutes are available by phone or zoom.
